Convergence UK, a multi-disciplined technology company based in Livingston, has worked with 2kt to develop a recruitment strategy.
Founded in 2008, Convergence UK is an innovative and progressive company with ambitious growth and expansion plans. However, as a relatively new company, it did not have a robust and comprehensive recruitment strategy in place to cope with its planned expansion. Whilst the company’s directors had been involved in managing recruitment projects at various levels in the past, they felt a more strategic approach, designed specifically for the company, was required to ensure they could support their expansion plans.
2kt partner, Stevenson College Edinburgh, was approached to help Convergence UK develop a recruitment strategy and develop procedures to ensure its effective implementation into the business.
The strategy had to be suited to recruiting a diverse range of skill sets and capabilities and included producing guidelines and templates for writing job descriptions, online adverts and interview questionnaires. As a result of the project, Convergence UK has been able to quickly and effectively recruit key personnel to different areas of the business, whilst reducing overall recruitment and advertising costs.
