Roger Tym & Partners have been providing town planning and development consultancy for over 35 years and have offices across the UK including Glasgow. The company carry out a range of research for government and public agencies using economic analyses and forecasting techniques.
2kt initially used Roger Tym as a provider of consultancy services; however the company quickly came to see the benefit of utilising university expertise for their own gain and have since begun to work on a number of projects with Queen Margaret’s academic staff.
Ventures currently being undertaken between Roger Tym and 2kt include work for Scottish Enterprise and the Forestry Commission on the Seven Stanes Project; established to develop mountain bike centres across the South of Scotland. Roger Tym and 2kt are providing a range of consultancy centred on developing Seven Stanes as an international product and supporting national strategies in economic development, tourism and cycling.
